He is an actor, a kickboxer, a deejay, a rapper and a clothing designer – so no surprise this year's Sexiest Man Alive, Idris Elba, loves to have some fun.
Growing up in East London as the only African immigrant child, Elbe, 46, "was a good kid, but my parents were pretty strict," he says people in this week's headline story. "When I was 14, as soon as I was basically raising my mustache, I was out there."
Participating in the school for all boys was a bit of a "cultural shock," insisted the actor. "There was a lot of disappointment, swordsman, who is bigger than anyone?" Elba, who also played sports such as soccer, football and cricket, is recalled. "I was a student C or B. I could not sit in the classroom for a long time."
Having found fame, Elba has learned the importance of authenticity. "When I meet someone I can read what part of me they want to see – if they want to see that guy on the TV," he says. "And sometimes you're not in real life."
But he admits he has a "naughty" side. "I told you my parents were strict, so I was a rebel," he says, laughing. "Sometimes I have a question of authority, I'm a guy who, if he says," Do not press the button, "I'll push her, I think I'm curious, not in a risky way, what would happen if I did?"

The actor also has 10 tattoos and could easily see himself getting more in the future. "I love my tats," he adds. "These are the moments in my life, I have the names and symbols of my culture of culture, half of Sierra Leone and Ghana, I have a line from one of my favorite songs:" This train does not carry any criminals. "It is not meant to be awful, that you can carry the negativity or drop it off at the station and move on. "
