Anorexia is one of the most disadvantaged diseases and one of the few who receives the appropriate attention. For several years, the numbers are rising and the number of people whose hearts have stopped knocking at the expense of society imposing false stereotypes is increasing. But not only is anorexia, there are other dietary disorders such as bulimia, which are attacked by extreme voracity, where vomiting and manorexia are self-provoking, the disorder being suffered by men and involving extreme sports, among others.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, in Colombia, between 2009 and 2017, people between 0 and 19 years of age with anorexia diagnosis were treated with an average of 4,322 treated patients per year, with 60.8% of those women being alarming because they are very few people are aware of the magnitude of problems that these diseases bring with them; It should be noted that girls suffer from the slightest age.

Each year, Mexico records 20,000 new cases of bulimia and anorexia among adolescents, which has increased by 300% in the past 20 years, according to the Excelsior newspaper, and the National Institute for Psychiatry has shown that 10% of young people with anorexia and 17% of bulimia they tried suicide, while only 25% had specialized treatment.

In Buenos Aires and Argentina, there is Ceda Center where they offer interdisciplinary, personalized and outpatient care focused on bulimia treatment, anorexia and any other type of eating disorders; There are a team of field experts, psychologists, psychiatrists, family therapists, and nutritionists who work for these disorders, as there is a misconception that these diseases are called "capricious," when they are truly specialized in nutrition for innocent people affected by the measures that society defines as beauty.

The number of people suffering from these diseases increases and brings with them consequences such as depression, suicide and anxiety. Violent behavior, violent behavior and ridicule for physical and personal appearances are also a boom that develops this type of disorder, and today there are many children, young people and adults struggling to overcome this "scourge".
