Trevor Harris trades with Edmonton Elx Montreal Alloutes


Edmonton – Defensive extreme Antonio Simmons has recalled Trevor Harris’ quarter and the Edmonton Elx have traded to the Montreal Alloutes.

Elx, who are 2-7 in the western part of the CFL, announced the deal on Sunday as Edmonton enters mid-week.

Harris has played 19 games for Edmonton, including six.

During his time in Edmonton, Ohio threw for 5,595 yards, 22 tackles and 11 hurdles.

Harris returns to the East after having ties with the Toronto Argonauts (2012-15) and the Ottawa Redblacks (2016-18).

Simmons, in his second CFL season, recorded seven wickets and two sacks in five games for the Allies this season.
