Nine of the 12 clubs have officially dropped the idea of playing in the Super League, with Arsenal, Inter, Chelsea, Athletics, Madrid, Milan, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham.
According to an EU statement, 9 out of 12 clubs intending to participate in the so-called Super League have officially abandoned the idea, the youth said in an official statement issued today.
The European Union (EU) has announced that clubs belonging to the Union umbrella will receive up to 5% of their revenue from participating in European competitions for one season only, while the other three clubs (Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus) will face disciplinary action.

The European Union (EU) has fined clubs 100 million euros for attempting to take part in these illegal activities, and fined them 50 million euros for violating any liability.
The EU ended the statement by stressing that the so-called Super League abandoned clubs would be referred to disciplinary bodies.
