London: 8,000 spectators are set to host this month’s League Cup final between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.
The final will be played on April 25 at Wembley Stadium in London. It was scheduled to take place on February 28th but was pushed back in the hope that fans would have a chance to attend someday.
“The Department of Culture, Media and Sports has given the green light to 8,000 spectators as part of a UK event research program,” the city said in a statement.
Tickets will be issued to Tottenham and City fans, as well as residents around the stadium and National Health Service (NHS) staff.
