According to the National Coordinating Center for Patient Distribution (LCPS), there are currently 776 corona patients in the intensive care unit, an increase of 26 over the previous day. The last time residency in ICs was this high was at the end of April last year.
There are now 1,782 corona patients in nursing wards. That is an increase of 34.
LCPS has long been assumed to increase the number of coronavirus patients in hospitals due to the type of virus in the UK. Recently, hospitals have expanded the capacity of intensive care units to facilitate this.
