Regardless of all his mistakes, Jugo will forever remain in our hearts. And although it has not been manufactured for ten years, they have not forgotten even the world's enthusiasts of the car.
The pride of the Yugoslav automotive industry around the world has been sold in more than 800,000 copies so it is remembered beyond the borders of the former state.
One of those who remember him was designer Michael Merkler, so good that Jugo served him as an inspiration for his digital designs.
Merkler gave us insight into how modern Yugo could look like a "surviving" transition, and as a sports hack, the US version of the Yugo 311 was used.
Under the name Yugo GT 5000 Concept we see Jugo we could not imagine, the size of the Chrysler C 300, the LED light group, the 20-inch wheels and tires of 265 mm, and the power of the braking jaws.
Below the twisted Yugaa GT000, a 5.0-liter V8 with a turbocharger and a four-wheel drive, is designed for a quadrangular autopilot.
This Jugo "develops" 600 hp, up to 100 km / h acceleration in 2.8 seconds at the highest speed of 320 km / h.
