Here is a great video for anyone who just started boudoir, and even for those who have been doing it for a while but need a quick update on some basics.
Los Angeles professional photographer Michael Sasser has seen everything when it comes to boudoir, and has learned what to do and what not to do. In the video below, he presents eight boudoir photography mistakes that beginners often make and how to solve them.
"These are the most common mistakes of boudoir photography that I see over and over again when photographers are just starting out in their boudoir business," says Sasser. "Of course, some of these are extreme examples, but that's what makes it so fun!"
Here are the eight errors that he shows in the video, and then he presents how to do things right way.
# 1 Shooting on a perfect mattress
# 2 Inclined shot
# 3 Empty by fixing the distance
# 4 Hands that do not make sense
# 5 Cut out the limbs
# 6 Raise the eyebrows
# 7 Shooting too wide-angle, too close
# 8 Shooting with terrible props
