The year is 1965. You are accelerating your new Chevrolet Corvair. As you approach your destination, you can not help but notice some people writhing and looking at you. They have just finished reading Ralph Nader's book Not safe at any speed and think you're a security risk to drive a Corvair. They do not know you're driving what will one day not just be a collector's item, but it will also affect the lives of thousands of people making airplanes in their backyards. This is the story of how the Corvair has moved from the innovative, the controversial, to the airplane.
