Build a do-it-yourself periscope for underwater photography

If you're reading this, then chances are you have a housing for your camera to bring it under water. But if you do not do it, do not worry. With only $ 10 and a bit of ingenuity, you too can immerse yourself in the world of underwater photography.

In total, the device costs only $ 10 and consists of PVC pipe, an elbow joint, a frame and an economic mirror. Although simple in theory, the device is quite effective in using a topside camera to take pictures and videos under water.

"The device worked much better than I thought and produced decent enough videos and images," Alex of I Did A Thing told PetaPixel.
