Create and publish social posts

  • In your HubSpot Marketing hub Basic, Professional, or firm account, go to Marketing > Social.

  • At the top right, click Create a social post.

  • In the text box, enter the content for your social post.

    • If you are creating a post on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or Twitter, you can use @ symbol to mention or tag other accounts. The quotes from Instagram will not be completed automatically, but Instagram will recognize the mention when the post is live.

Note that: you can just @ mention or tag Facebook pages or LinkedIn business pages. Individual users of Facebook or LinkedIn He can not be mentioned when creating a social post for Facebook or LinkedIn on HubSpot.

  • After writing the content of your post, choose the content you are about to promote.
    • Click the attach to attach icon to select a hosted HubSpot blog post or landing page to attach to your post, then click ok. This will insert the title and link of your content directly into your social post. If you want to share content that is not hosted on HubSpot, enter the link to the content directly in the text box.
    • Once the content link is added, a post will be previewed from the content metadata. This will include an & # 39; image (if available), title, meta description (if available)and links.

  • To insert an image, click Image insertImage icon. You can select an existing image in the file manager or click Add image to upload a new image from your device or URL.

    • If you're posting on Facebook or Twitter, you can post up to four images in a social post. Click the Image insertImage icon again to insert another image.

You can select an existing video in the file manager or click Upload video to upload a new video from your device.

Note that:

  • Any image or video inserted in the post will replace the image generated in the post preview if you have a content link.
  • Images and videos must be loaded in one of the following formats: png, jpg, jpeg, gif, mp4, avi, mov, mpeg4, mp4 or m4v.
  • Animated GIFs want play on Twitter and Google+, e I will not do that play on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Uploaded videos can not exceed 20 minutes.

  • Finally, select a HubSpot campaign to associate the social post with. At the bottom right, click Countryside drop-down menu and select a countryside or click Create a new campaign.

  • (Optional) After setting up your social post, you can choose to post another post or post to another social account by clicking on the corresponding post social icon next to Plan another. This will automatically duplicate the content of the existing post in the new post.

  • Once your post is ready, click Schedule post or Post post now bottom left to program it for publication or publish it immediately, depending on the date and time of publication selected.
