Sure, you could just buy one from a party store, but there’s something so satisfying about earning it—kind of like how throwing on a costume and bothering your neighbors makes the candy you gather from trick-or-treating so much more rewarding to eat.

What you’ll need:
- Black construction paper
- Punching Balloon
Cut the newspaper into strips.
Mix equal parts water and flour to make paper mâché.
Dip newspaper into paper mâché, covering the balloon completely.
Snip edge of streamers, creating fringe
Glue orange streamers around the piñata.
Pop the punching balloon, and fill it with candy.
Glue green streamers around the piñata.
Cut out eyes and a mouth using black construction paper.
Glue them to the piñata.
