(ANSA) – Rome, 18 September – The head of the magistrates' union
ANM, Francesco Minisci, told the Senate justice committee
Tuesday that the law of the government is increasing legitimately
self defense could lead to "do-it-yourself justice".
"There's the risk of legitimizing the murder … of creating a
do-it-yourself justice, "he said.
"It would be advisable to stop and reflect," said Minisci,
reiterating that the current law is good.
"There is no need for further legislative action," he said
the chief ANM.
The bill would introduce rules similar to those of the United States
laws of land where practically all forms of self-defense on one's own
properties are considered legitimate.
