Do you love technology? How about do-it-yourself projects? If you like both, or know someone who does it, then this episode is for you.
In this edition of UWM Today, we highlight the imminent Maker Faire Milwaukee. Inventors, pastry chefs and hobbyists meet for this event to show their work and share their knowledge of working with technology. The Maker Faire is one of the largest of its kind in the world and the faculty and students of UW-Milwaukee play an important role in the event.
They join us in the study Brett Peters, dean of the UWM College of Engineering & Applied Science; Pete Prodoehl, director of interactive media at the Betty Brinn Children's Museum; and Chris Beimborn, an outreach expert in the fields related to STEM at the UWM University of Engineering and Applied Science.
