Based on the history of 2018 in Arizona, the Seahawks have put this game well up by seven. They might have put it aside when they were in the red zone and the score was 10. The only reason the Cardinals were able to score is because Sebastian Janikowski's missed missions put them in first place. Otherwise, only the team entered the game with an average of less than seven points per game. Janikowski probably owes his friends a note of thanks.

Bob Condotta's half-way thoughts like Arizona lead Seattle 10-7:
- Well, this is what Seattle did not want to do: keep an Arizona team without wins and besieged in the game. The Cardinals helped Seattle make some mistakes, including a field goal missed by 50 yards on the final play. But Arizona must also feel good about itself, because every match for the whole season goes towards the middle with the command.
- And, well, we still wonder if the Seahawks have a kicking problem like Sebastian Janikowski missed 38 and 52 yards and is now 3-6 in the season after missing even a couple of extra points in the preseason final. There was always some risk in going with a 40-yard kicker who lost last season because of an injury and so far has not solved the kicking problems that have plagued Seattle since the end of the 2016 season and the loss of Stephen Hauschka to the free agency.
- Seattle can hardly ask for more from his ongoing attack with 95 yards on 17 ports. But that does not help Seattle convert thirds down while the Seahawks are 0-5 in the third down and even 0-1 in the fourth down.
- Seattle only has a lot and three quarterback hits against novice Josh Rosen, who plays his first game. Rosen has had time to do pitches in some situations and while it is only 6-13 for 50 yards he has made some play to keep Arizona's attack afloat.
The Arizona Cardinals entered the Sunday game as the NFL's worst statistical rush team.

In the first half against the Seahawks, Arizona collected 67 runners in the race and a touchdown and an average of 4.8 yards per carry. It comes a week after the Cowboys have snatched up a hasty 167 yards and 8.7 yards for a loss at Seattle.

- It will obviously be a great subject of discussion that the Seahawks went with Mike Davis to start at the tail instead of the first round, Rashaad Penny instead of the injured Chris Carson. Davis made the decision so far with 58 yards on seven carry. But it does not make the decision to take Penny where they looked better.
- Will Dissy's injury could be a real killer because it was a solid blocker and a surprisingly effective receiver. Expect Seattle to promote Darrell Daniels in active shifts this week. And this makes Ed Dickson's return – something he can do after the sixth game – all the more important if Dissly is out for a period of time.
- Seattle is not getting a real race, especially when it only takes four.

But the Seahawks are eventually forced to attempt a field goal, and Sebastian Janikowski is missing from 38 yards.

Dissly landed awkwardly after a tackle from Arizona free security Antoine Bethea after making a good reception for a five-yard gain.
The injury leaves Seattle with only one conclusion on the roster, Nick Vannett, after Seattle earlier this week gave up Darrell Daniels to make way for the roster for the defensive part Branden Jackson, which was necessary for the depth to bring down that cruel position.

11:29 | Seahawks 0, Cardinals 0 If the thought was that Rashaad Penny would leave the queue with Chris Carson inactive, the Seahawks got a surprise with veteran Mike Davis instead of receiving the call.
Davis completed the first three games of the Seattle game with earnings of seven and sixteen years before being judged without any gain.
Penny came in and made a nine-meter run before the Seattle drive was stopped at 44.

PREGAME
11:45 In what was a slight surprise, the tailback Chris Carson is inactive for the Seahawks for Sunday's game in Arizona.
Carson was listed as questionable by the Seahawks with an hip injury that made him out or limited in practice all week. But Carson spoke to journalists after Friday's rehearsals and indicated that he felt better, and coach Pete Carroll seemed to have indicated that Carson would play.
It was reported on the FOX broadcast that Carson "tried to give it a try", heating for about 30 minutes but with considerable discomfort.
Carson had 32 career victories until last Sunday against Dallas.
Carson being inactive means that the Seahawks will probably start the debutant Rashaad Penny in the queue. Seattle has only two other healthy tailbacks on its roster – Mike Davis and C.J. Prosise.
The other inactive of Seattle are: WR Keenan Reynolds, security Shalom Luani, linebacker K.J. Wright, offensive lineman Ethan Pocic and defensive ends Dion Jordan and Rasheem Green.
Reynolds and Luani are healthy scratches to get to the game limit of 46 while the others are all due to injuries.
Among the active ones is the receiver Doug Baldwin, whom Carroll said on Friday he would play for the first time after dislocating his MCL in the opening against Denver. – Bob Condotta
