Thomas Mapfumo has charged 7 cities and cities in Zimbabwe

American Music Icon Chimurenga, Dr. Thomas & Mukanya & # 39; Mapfumo, will return to Zimbabwe for a peacetime tour next month, where it will encourage the people of the country to eliminate and work together.

The peace tour follows the harmonized elections in July.

The tours will see Mukanya perform at Bulawayo, Beitbridge, Gweru, Mutare, Masvingo, Kariba and Harare with supporting acts that are still finalized. Tour dates are set today.

The Chimurenga Music Company and Entertainment Republic, which this year hosted Mukanja's Homecoming Big Bira in Harare, are behind this tour. Spokesperson of Chimurenga Music Company, Blessing Vava, said it facilitated this event after he realized that there was a need for unity of purpose.

"To make bread and butter on your desk, it comes through a stable political environment, so Mukanya says that regret, polarization, insults and attacks should stop." We want peaceful Zimbabwe where we live in peace and harmony, "Vava said.

He said Mukanya hopes to unite Zimbabwe with music and encourage them to work together.
